"When I Fall In Love"

Our Valentine Cabaret features performances by many soloists, duets, ensembles, and the full Chorus.  The Cabaret showcases the individual music talents of our members, whether singing, playing an instrument, etc. 

Join us for the NMGMC's Annual Valentine's Cabaret, "When I Fall in Love," Feb 5-6-7. Whether or not we ever fall in love, we all dream about what it would be like, even if just for a fleeting moment. Come and share in some musical moments of fanciful pleasure, heartfelt anguish, and unbridled passion with the spectacular voices of the NMGMC! Featuring songs from Broadway and the movies as well as diverse artists like The Eagles, Pink, Mumford & Sons, Justin Timberlake, and Frank Sinatra.

Hosted by one of Albuquerque's favorite artists and performers, Dean Eldon Squibb.
 
Dean Eldon Squibb is an Albuquerque native and one of the region's favorite artists and entertainers. On the screen, he has appeared with Faye Dunaway, Sam Shepard and John Malkovich; in the Marvel Comics movie The Spirit and in episodes of TV’s In Plain Sight and Easy Money. On stage, he has played dozens of roles as diverse as  Zaza in La Cage aux Folles, The King in The King and I and, in different productions, both Paul and Zack in A Chorus Line.  As a director, his work has included Hedwig and the Angry Inch and All About Christmas Eve for the Dolls. Dean is also an accomplished visual artist and his eye for design can be experienced at  Morningside Antiques.

​Because of the Super Bowl, the Sunday, February 7 Performance will start at 2:00 PM to allow football fans to attend our concert and​ their afternoon football festivities. 
Guests can enjoy libations at the Valentine Cabaret concerts.  A cash bar will be available for our guests' enjoyment.
