Presenting two powerful stories about the LGBTQ+ communities by Andrew Lippa: I Am Harvey Milk and Unbreakable.
I Am Harvey Milk is a biographical work centered on Harvey Milk, one of the first openly gay elected officials in the U.S. It intertwines his personal journey with his political activism, portraying his life as a symbol of hope and progress for the LGBTQ+ community.
Unbreakable is a broader historical chronicle spanning 120 years of LGBTQ+ history in America. It highlights key moments, figures, and struggles, such as the Lavender Scare, Sylvia Rivera's activism, and the AIDS crisis, offering a panoramic view of the community's evolution.

Bill Brooks (Harvey, Harvey Milk; Man 2, Unbreakable)
Bill has performed On & Off Broadway, in Europe and across the United States. He was last seen on Broadway in Camelot with Jeremy Irons and Melissa Erico. Albuquerque audiences have seen him in Landmark’s La Cage Aux Folles as Albin/Zaza and in Ragtime as Tateh, in Adobe Theater’s The Drowsy Chaperone as Aldolpho and The Bridges of Madison County as Robert (which won him the Albuquerque Theatre Guild’s ORLEY AWARD for OUTSTANDING LEAD ACTOR IN A MUSICAL). In 2023, he was also nominated as “Best Supporting Performer in a Musical” for Santa Fe Playhouse’s A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder where he played 13 characters. He thanks Jim Willams for all his love and support. |
Mary Brzezinski (Mother/Muse, Harvey Milk; Woman 2, Unbreakable)
Mary Brzezinski, originally from Windermere, Florida, is now an Albuquerque based coloratura soprano who received her BFA in Musical Theater from Samford University and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from UNM. She helps run New Mexico’s chapter of Opera On Tap with a mission to help introduce people to opera and classical music in perhaps unexpected venues and digestible musical morsels! Her recent roles include Queenie in Lippa’s The Wild Party (Musical Theatre Southwest), Aquata in The Little Mermaid (Landmark Musicals), Alice in Le Comte Ory (Opera Southwest), Annina in La Traviata (Opera Southwest), and has been gleefully singing as a part of Opera Southwest’s chorus for over the past ten years. She is very much looking forward to singing with Opera West in Santa Fe in May as part of their Timeless Puccini concerts and as Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, in October 2025! |
Lucca Giannini (Young Harvey, Harvey Milk)
Lucca is very excited to be a part of this production! Lucca has performed in several shows with Landmark Musicals as well as SummerPrep shows at Sandia Prep. Some of his most recent roles include Olaf in Frozen Jr, Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz Jr., Flounder in The Little Mermaid, Les in Newsies, and Winthrop in The Music Man. Lucca also enjoys film projects and was cast a dancer in The Really Loud House Musical episode. In his spare time, Lucca enjoys playing the piano, video games, and playing outside with his little brother Hudson. He would like to thank his Mom, Dad and brother for all their love and support. |
Brian Seals (Man 1, Unbreakable)
Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico music has always been a passion and part of Brian’s life. Coming from a musical family, he’s been singing since he could join his first talent show in elementary school. Musical theater and choir in high school led to leading worship for years at several churches in New Mexico and Colorado. Joining the NMGMC was a huge turning point and allowed him to make many friendships and gain the confidence to perform with The Paddletramps for almost a decade. He’s won best RnB twice at the New Mexico Music Awards under the name Grayhill and looks forward to getting back on the stage with the amazing singers from the NMGMC. |
Tasha Booth (Woman 1, Unbreakable)
Tasha Booth is honored to be making her debut as a guest soloist with NMGMC. Originally from New Jersey, she now calls Albuquerque her permanent home. After a 12-year professional career in musical theatre, Tasha now enjoys performing locally in her spare time while working full time as an online business coach. Tasha was most recently seen as Aldonza in the MTS production of Man of LaMancha. Other past roles include Esmeralda (Hunchback, MTS) Joanne (Rent, MTS), Aida (Aida, Prima Theatre), Dynamite (Hairspray, Nat’l Tour), Sheila (Chorus Line, Landmark), Motormouth (Hairspray, ALT). Tasha shares her life with her husband Scott, stepdaughters Grace & Meredith, and 2 dogs - Stanly and Boomer. She'd like to thank her friends, family, and the local community for their continued support and encouragement. |
