As we enter our 27th year, the NMGMC wants to invite you to experience our exciting season!

Our motto is Changing the World Through Music, and through our works of silliness, passion, faith, beauty, and emotion, we try to demonstrate that we are all on the same journey. This year we ask you to join us in walking in one another's musical moccosins.

Our chorus is a charter member of the Gay and Lesbian Choral Association (GALA). In 2004, we were represented at the GALA Choruses Festival in Montreal, Canada - 16 of our singers attended.

We have two concert seasons per year, each one being four months long. See our home page for details of any upcoming events.

History
Founded in 1981 as The Brash Ensemble, the NMGMC was one of the first members of the Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses (GALA). This year, the NMGMC was honored as “Honorary Dignitaries” at PrideFest 2007, and in 2008 we will perform at the GALA Festival in Miami.

Choral Director
Our Choral Director is J. Matthew Moore. This is Matthew's first season with the NMGMC. He hails from Michigan and has performed and directed in many venues across the country.

Our Fifth Section
The Fifth section is a vital part of our Chorus. Those who do not perform onstage perform a variety of tasks offstage including, but not limited to, ticket sales and collection, advertising, set-up, tear-down, ushering, intermission activities, etc. Please encourage your significant other and friends to get involved!

Dues
Dues are $50 per term. For those unable to pay full dues, arrangements may be made with the Treasurer to fulfill dues requirements in other ways.
